Margarito vs cotto??

cotto really impressed me with his fight today, he seemed much better after he fought judah and mosely, so who would win margo or cotto??

Everyone is bassing there thoughts off the Gomez fight. He was suppose  to do that, "Please". Yes Cotto has shown he can move, effective jab and pick his shots. His defense still need to be tighting up a bit. Margarito still has no question for the jab and lacks defense. Just sit there and eat jabs all day long. Margarito has good stamina, can take a punch, keeps his hand moving on the inside and walks you down. He throw's too many wild punches. Yes, it will be a  good fight. There's still Clottey out there. Margarito won a close decision against Clottey with a injured hand. margarito said it himself, it was one of his hardest fights.

this would be a very good fight. I think margo has the best chance of beating cotto. I think margo would be able to take cottos best shots but I'm not sure cotto can take margos.the only way cotto can KO margo is by a liver shot and that is very possible. I slightly favor cotto but just because his faster and more twchnicly skilled. But this fight can easly go either way

What a great match-up.  Margarito will take it, because he has much more offensive output than Cotto and a much stronger chin.  He will rock Cotto and outlast  him over the course of the fight.

Cotto! Is it me or does everyone who fights Cotto have the right side of their face completely reconfigured. Seriously look at every fight he has ever fought, including Mosley. The right side of everyones face is completely swollen and unrecognizable. What people don't seem to understand is that Cotto is naturally left-handed so his jab, that knocked Gomez down, is actually a strong straight left. Not just a jab he flicks out there with no purpose. He is also very economical with his punches no wasted movements or thrown punches.

He outclassed Gomez and will outbox Margo. He doesn't have to KO him he just has to beat him! Cotto in a UD over Margo.

Cotto is in an elite class at the moment.  He would dispatch margo about the same as he did gomez.  margo would hang in there til the 9th or 10th round, but the shots to the body would take their toll, leaving Cotto with a late round TKO.

Cotto hits a helluva lot harder than Cintron (the only person Margo has beaten to get a belt).

this wasn't a match from the get go,..Gomez was too slow and weak....he put up a good show and if he fought Margarito he would win...it would be a good match....

My opinion is that Miguel Cotto will give Margarito a h**l of a fight, ( First ) his a very patient boxer, ( second ) he really hit hard with both hands ( third ) he could switch and fight southpaw and that would drive Margarito crazy all night.
