Margo vs cotto finally official?

bob arum this morning anounced on espn that miguel cotto finally signed the contract today to face the tijuana tornado..arum also stated that the fight thats going to take place on july 26,08 has been moved from madison square garden to the mgm grand in las vegas,nv...this fight is called "la batalla"translation "the battle"and its going to be televised on HBO pay-per-view...this is a fight i will definitly pay for,unlike the de la homo vs gayweather 2 thats gonna be $60 for a boring sparring session....margo vs cotto has fight of the year written all over it...if fraud gayweather doesnt fight the winner of cotto vs margo itll be funny if you dumb gayweather are still on his jock......i like cotto but i got my money margarito to win!

that is some awesome news. i love cotto and i love margarito and that will be a kick a** fight but i wouldn't put my money on either of them. Margarito is one of the greatest and Cotto is undefeated i think that this will be worth watching. but i wouldn't want to lose any money on it especially cause i really like both fighters

Best news I've heard, since the Mosley-Judah bout got canned for the end of May. I will definitely be ready to see the fight with bells on, lol. This fight will be worth the PPV cost.

That's actually not a bad bet, putting your money on Margarito. Personally, I'm going to give it a little more time, before I make my prediction.

im a mayweather fan and he will beat any of these guys with his eyes close. Cotto is going to destroy magarito he has problem with boxers and cotto want do a cintron in this fight. this is going to be a easy match for cotto youll see. defense and skills magarito has a problem against. cotto is okay defensively and has some skills so magarito will be easy bait. magarito only shot easy to come out aiming for a early knock out. A win is not enough to prove either of their point that both need a decisive knock out or stoppage whithin 8 rounds or less.

cotto is a smart boxer and will probably stick and move. margao comes foward and can probably take cottos best shots since cintrons shots only tickle him. if cotto wins it will be by decision adn if margo wins it would probably have to be by TKO. I think cotto is favored to win

This will be the FIGHT OF THE YEAR no doubts, these are the two titans of brawling, they get in there throw shots take shots, and dont stop.   This will be a comparison to hearns-hagler after the fight,  It will be an all out slugfest, alot of people think cotto will box i say h**l no, cotto is a brawler and wants to make an impression on the fight to get the worlds attention u cant do tht by boxing.  I think that margaritos heiight will play a huge factor, and i htink his outpute body power and his chin will win him this fight by KO in round 5.
