It is the fourth time that the Tournament of Champions has been held in a calendar year. It will feature eight elite contenders from the world rankings except those who will fly to the mesmerizing city of Istanbul for the season-end
championship. So, tennis fanatics will have back-to-back breathtaking events in a couple of weeks towards the end of October. Bulgaria’s top ranked player, Tsvetana Pironkova, is also awarded a wildcard entry to contest for the event at her home soil.
