World number two, Maria Sharapova, is crushing her opponent in Miami and enjoying what she does the best. She hates posing for photo shoots and especially the random photographs that are taken are red carpet ceremonies of events.
She would rather play tennis than to pose for cameras. She has nightmares thinking about that.
The slender-legged Russian beauty stated, “There is nothing more mortifying than the red carpet.” This statements says it all but she is a fun loving character and it must be terrifying to modify emotions according to someone’s
demand rather be yourself.
However, the endorsements for several brands and marketing campaigns are fun to be a part off but walking on the red carpet is something she would love to skip anytime. She further added, “It's - I don't want to say fake, but -
it's one big illusion, to be honest. The things you see on a red carpet, everything is perfect, the image of a person there dressed beautifully with hair and makeup and wonderful styling. I come home an hour later and I take everything off, and, you know -
'Where did all that glamour go?'"
It is tough to be a celebrity and some players often get overworked after sustaining that status. They are called upon for multiple photo shoots, openings, endorsements, etc. It is often difficult to cope with everything along
with professional sport but it’s a part of life. Some work hard all there life to become celebrities whilst others are born with innate qualities to be one.
Talking about her frustration being overruled by a magnificent performance at the courts, she mentioned, “I know it sounds silly, because you're hitting a tennis ball. But really, it's such a good feeling when you feel that you're
good at something and you could be better."
Sharapova is not only extremely talented in tennis but also owns a very charming personality and cheerful character. She likes to live a normal life but sometimes getting a bit fuzzy off-courts also attracts her. At the moment,
she has cruised her way into the semis in Miami and plays Caroline Wozniacki for a title match spot.
