Maria Sharapova is the ‘most searched’ tennis woman on Bing.com – Tennis
Russian beauty queen, Maria Sharapova, has always been the darling of the tennis fans for the past many years and her popularity is every increasing. Recently, officials of the online search engine, Bing.com, have accumulated the
stats for the most searched athletes on their website and not surprisingly, Sharapova has been on the top among female sports personalities.
According to the officials of the website, Bing’s list is “Based on the aggregation of billions of search queries,” highlighting the “most searched”. The Russian tennis diva has finished at number four in that list, surpassing
every other women tennis player, including the likes of Serena Williams, Victoria Azarenka, Agnieszka Radwanska and all the rest.
The top-3 spot in the Bing’s most searched list were taken by male athletes, with American footballer Peyton Manning on the top, legendary golfer Tiger Woods coming next and other American football player Tim Tebow hitting the
third spot. Hence, Sharapova has beaten all the other male and female tennis professionals in terms of online popularity among the internet users.
Serena Williams has been the most dominating WTA player of the season with seven titles, including two Grand Slams and an Olympic gold medal. She has been announced the WTA Player of the Year 2012 but Bing’s popularity list rates
her on the sixth spot, below Sharapova. The American veteran has outplayed Sharapova on the tennis courts in all the encounters this year but the slender-legged Russian beauty remains the darling of tennis fans all over the world.
It was also reported by Sharapova that she have plans to sign a Hollywood movie in the near future. She has been doing numerous commercial advertisings and is the brand ambassador of a wide range of products for the past few years.
She thinks it is time for her to enrol completely into the world of glamour and cash in her tennis fame in Hollywood.
Sharapova is believed to posses the Midas touch and everything he touched turns into gold. She has made a respectable place in the field of tennis, completing her Career Grand Slam, and desires to try her luck in other professions
