Marie Waland, a budding player from Norway, showed impressive performance on court as she toppled Guatemala’s Ana Lucia De Leon in Girl’s Singles U22 Group A clash at the 2012 MBBC Jr International on Thursday, July 19, in USA.
The talented Marie showed her elevated skills proving that she is ready to take bigger challenges as she showed no mercy to Ana and registered a dominating victory over her in a sensational manner.
Marie showed a remarkable performance as she continued her winning run in the tournament by playing with spirit and easily crushed her opponent in straight sets with a one-sided margin on the score board.
In the meanwhile, Ana could not show her remarkable skills while playing against Marie. She was completely confused on court as she failed to earn points on crucial situations and eventually bowed down against her rival in a lopsided manner.
