Marija Ulitina waylays Lene Clausen in final round of 2013 Forza Slovenia International
Women’s Singles trophy of Forza Slovenia International belonged to Marija Ulitina as she remained invincible also in the final round on Sunday, May 12, 2013.
This 25-minute title match pit her against Lene Clausen and their meeting prolonged to two sets before ending with decisive figures of 21-11 and 21-12.
The Ukrainian campaigner displayed an unbeatable craft on the court and sealed splendid straight-set win. Meanwhile, the Dutch shuttler failed to match her rival’s skills and surrendered tamely in both segments of the showdown.
In the opening game, Marija raised her chances of success by prevailing in the establishing rallies and then doubled the impact by pocketing many points without any interruption. She kept on moving forward at a steady pace and strengthened her grip on the
game.
Though, Lene Clausen made every effort to come out of her rival’s influence but she could not hit the mark.

After the one-minute break, Marija showed class on the court and confounded the French player with a staggering knock.
She increased her lead in third quarter of the set and then locked the honour with scoreboard flashing 21-12 score in her favour.
