Marijuana as medicine??

So basically what I'm asking is what the hel* do they use marijuana for to "help" people?

Stops nausea. helps you relax so your not as tense.

  Marijuana has many medicinal uses. It is used to treat gloucoma for one . It is also the drug of choice to help alleviate the side affects of chemo therapy,such as violent nausea and total lack of appetite.

When you are in intensive pain from certain illnesses like cancer, marijuana is a very effective calming medicine. It's a pain reliever. Go do some research on it. You may find that you will support the legalization of medicinal marijuana. They're not suggesting that everyone can get it...just people with those illnesses.

EDIT: Sorry...I didn't intend on sounding mad, but if you're not going to do more research on it to see how it actually helps people, I don't think you have the right to take a strong opinion on the subject (or to even answer that survery).
