Is Stanford a good college 4 marine biology.....what r some others?

  2. I would recommend checking out the University of Washington in Seattle, particularly if you are interested in Pacific fisheries management.  Stanford is not bad for pure biology, but the tools for management are where a deal of the jobs can be found.  

  3. hi, I'm not sure this will be helpful if your looking only in America (I'm British) but good marine bio Uni's over here include, Aberdeen, St Andrews, Stirling, Aberytswyth (not spelled right), Bangor, New Castle, Portsmouth, Plymouth and Southampton.

    one general rule of thumb look at what the lecturers specialise in when your looking into the university as that is what they will most likely focus on, also don't go to a University inland as being on the coast is always an advantage. for an undergraduate degree how good the university is doesn't really matter what matters is what you get out of the course and what you apply yourself to outwith the course.

    I use university and college as meaning the same thing here, the are different in the Uk.
