Question:

Marine Corps Training?

I know somebody who is going into the Marines very soon. I hope he can make it. He will be going to Parris Island and I don't know about him. Can any former or current Marines give me some reassurance that he will be alright. I know what good old Lincon said. "you can do anything you want if you set your mind to it." is this true, if you have that no quit attitude will he be alright?

  1. Just tell him to shut up,keep his eyes forward in formation,DON'T TAKE THE YELLING PERSONAL!!,push yourself 110 %,and do what the drill instructors tell him to do to the letter. Also tell him that they can yell and drop you for push ups all they want but in 13 months youll be out of there and be a United States Marine, the most honorable thing in the world.good luck

  2. i was a f@ckup and i made it. as long as he sticks to the program, do the physical training and block out the stupid mind games he will be alright

  3. He'll be fine..I just got out of bootcamp, and it is easier than i thought, and everyone says the same thing..it is stressful at times, and i became homesick, cause I have a son..but i made it.

  4. They wont let him fail. Dont worry about him. He is about to undergo the best thing ever to happen in his life!
