Marine biologists say they may have to euthanize the baby whale. How do you think it should be done?

I think any thing that would be fast (Quick) would be appropriate, there are no experts on a matter as this, Death is surely coming to the calf whale and starvation is probably one of the most cruel deaths there is. I don't want it to die but I don't want  it to surly starve because someone prevents someone from taking a human action either.

Sad to say... that if the authorities can't find the pod then it makes sense to euthanize the whale.

The whale hasn't eaten and doesn't know how to "fish" so it's slowly starving to death and suffering.  why make it suffer longer?
