bmw marine engine does the raw water system need to have water in jected into it after emptying or will the impellar lift enough water to cool the rubber connector

  1. Most modern engines have a pump with sufficient capacity to fill the water jacket of the engine within 60secs. of starting.  If the engine has been standing for a while,it is a good idea to put a squirt of liquid detergent in the pump (to lubricate it) before starting.

  3. NO YOU HAVE TO HOOKMUP THE EARS TO RUN OR FLUSH THE MOTOR
