after applying, when is your first pft? is that part of the application and when you finish your paperwork, you take it? or does it start at ocs?

  1. It's extremely competitive. The PFT is part of your application process.

    100 Crunches

    20 Pull Ups

    3 mile run-- 18:00 minutes.

    Out of 300. Attempt to get at least a 225 for OCS. If you are considering Infantry, as most officer candidates desire, you'll want a 275 to be competitive. Max the crunches. Perfect the run. The pull ups take time....


  2. You'll take your first PFT before OCS, it's part of the application process. Believe me when I say that will be the EASIEST PFT of your life.
