  1. Its very difficult to not make it through boot camp..They try their best to pass you..

You will not pass if you refuse to train, repeatedly fail an event such as rifle qual, ,pop on p**s test, unable to adapt, or get injured beyond repair.

The great majority will pass..There is not a high failure rate as it is very hard to fail. They simply dont let you quit.

  2. the success rate is high due to the DI's recycling you until you pass. in my opinion it is too high. any one who has earned the title knows of some s**+stain who basically had the EGA forced on them and they either didn't make it 6 months in the fleet without going UA or popping positive.

Edit: i wish we had a bell to ring for all the "dungeons and dragons" Motherfkers that got picked on in highschool and thought the Corps was their way to finally be tough, get the girl, be respected, not be a loser ect...ect...ect...

  3. My platoon had started with 65, and we graduated with 50, not counting our pick-ups.  Of those 15 that were dropped, only about 3 were sent home.  The other 12 had been dropped to companies behind us, due to injuries or pneumonia, etc.

It's actually pretty hard to be sent home.  The quickest way you'll leave boot camp is by graduating.

  4. almost all the people who go, make it.  don't be fooled.  it is hard, but you can't just quit.  only the ones who refuse to train go home.  don't let all these people hype it up.  if you go, you will finish.
