Manchester City striker http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Mario-Balotelli-c23937 has insisted that he isn’t a violent person and has only accepted to the charges against him, because he didn’t have sufficient proof to prove himself as being innocent.

City took on Tottenham Hotspur in the Premier League and despite City winning by three goals to two, the FA launched an investigation into Balotelli’s actions during the game.
The striker went on to stomp on Scott Parker’s head during the game and despite him claiming for the incident to be accidental, the FA though otherwise.
Despite Howard Webb not stopping play at the time that Balotelli stomped on Parker, the referee later on went on to state that perhaps he should have shown the Italian a card.
Nonetheless, in order to clear his name, the striker has come forth and admitted that it wasn’t his fault that his foot landed on Parker’s head, since it was just mere coincidence.
At the same time, the Italian insisted that he would have contested the ban, had there been any evidence to support his claims.
The striker is quoted to have said:  “I have accepted the ban because I couldn't prove my innocence"
"But I'm not a villain or violent. I didn't try to [place my] heel [on] Parker"
Balotelli is now going to miss out on three more games for City, after already sitting out in the Carling Cup game between http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Liverpool-c39809 and City.
http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Roberto-c31294 Mancini went on to confirm that he had every intention of appealing against the decision, but once again, the lack of evidence is what prevented him from doing so.
The manager seems to have explained this point to Balotelli and that is why the striker has not lashed out against FA’s verdict
http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Mancini-c23323, when discussing the situation stated:
“I do not agree with this decision, but we can do nothing. I do not agree. I explained to Mario and he understood”
City will now have to try and conserve their strikers over the next couple of games, as they wait for the prolific Italian to make his return and prove his worth on the pitch, via his performances.
