The Udinese captain has urged the Manchester City striker to improve on his off-the-ball skills, and believes that with a deep understanding of his talents the attacker can become one of the best.

The Manchester City striker was phenomenal in Italy’s campaign in Euro 2012, and also finished the tournament as the joint top scorer.
Di Natale insisted that Balotelli is a player like no other, and stated that he has all the ingredients required to cook a great player.
The Udinese-man advised the Manchester City striker to spend some more time with the national team, and improve on his movement when he does not have the possession of the ball.
The Zebrette captain was adamant that a deep understanding of the qualities possessed by the Azzurri striker could make him a Ballon d’Or winner in the future.
While talking to the Gazzetta dello Sport, the 34-year-old said:
“Mamma mia, Balotelli is potentially a phenomenon. He has pace, power and an incredible right foot. He needs to play a bit more for the team and needs to improve in his off-the-ball movement, but if he understands the qualities he has then he can win the
Ballon d’Or.”
Di Natale went on to reveal that he played the role of a mentor for Balotelli, and was asked a lot of questions by the budding star in the Euros.
The Udinese veteran revealed that the Manchester City striker is a believer of his precise eye for the opposition’s goal, and insisted that goals are all that the budding star thinks of.
“I spoke to him a lot during the tournament and he asked me a lot of questions because he said that I know where the goal is. Goals are what are on his mind…”
Di Natale also revealed that his son is a huge fan of Balotelli, and has asked him to bring a shirt bearing the name of the temperamental striker.
