Manchester City’s local drama queen, Mario Balotelli is currently being linked with a shock move back to Italy. It is not surprising that Balotelli has wanted to make a return to Italy; however, it seems the player might just go
on to do that sooner rather than later.
It was previously reported that the player had, had some sort of a rift with manager Roberto http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Mancini-c23323. However, Mancini and Balotelli have both gone ahead and stated those claims to be fallacious. As a result, Balotelli has gone
ahead and stated that he feels desperately homesick and cannot wait to make it back to Italian soil.
Apart from that, Balotelli, as a result, of his attitude has found it close to impossible to finding friends, or forming a strike partnership at the club. Balotelli has often been found to be the outsider at the club where he was
supposed to break into the big time.
At the moment, the only club that seems to be showing any interest in the player are AC Milan. Milan have been long-term admirers of the player, but failed to secure his services in the past. However, Milan are looking to use Zlatan
Ibrahimovic and Balotelli’s friendship to their advantage, to try and secure the player’s signature this time around.
On the other hand, Manchester United are looking to replace Balotelli immediately, if he does end up leaving the club. The player that the team are looking to bring in to replace Balotelli is none other than the Newcastle hitman,
Andy Carroll. Carroll has been one of the stand out performers so far this season and has been linked with moves to numerous teams in Europe. However, if Manchester City are to make a bid for the player, then it would be close to impossible for Newcastle to
turn down the team.
However, most experts are finding it close to impossible to believe that Balotelli will be leaving the team in January. The more likely scenario for all these transfers to go down is at the end of the season. Nonetheless, given
the unstable nature of transfer window, anything can happen in the next month.
