Mario Galaxy - Luigi's Purple Coins?

Question

omg im going mad im stuck on the level luigi's purple coins,im after wasting over 100 lives on it, im going insane, for some reason i cant do the long jumps he does a stump thing instead,ican get up to only 70-80 coins, i have the whole game just cleared ive 118 stars, luigi is my second last one, also i cant find the one after that is there a hidden one sumwhere else in the game cause its not on the map and i think i did feed all the hungary lumas!! PLS HELP............

the key is to master the long jump to complete this mission.  Don't worry about time because you will always be on the move.
