The Bavarian attacker has offered his support for the manager and insists that players should take the blame for the disappointing displays recently.

Mario Gomez stressed that the manager cannot be blamed if players put in some disappointing performances on the pitch. He insisted that every player should admit the mistakes he has made and improve on them.
“Look at the first half in Leverkusen: you cannot seriously say that the coach did not get through to us. Each of us has to pick out the best in ourselves. For the team, everyone must be self-critical,” he was quoted as saying

return in the future games.
“I am going through a difficult phase right now. I have not scored in recent games. I must play like I usually do and work more consistently in front of goal. I was close to scoring at Leverkusen and I am sure I will do it in the
next games,” he concluded.
