The Bavarian striker reckons that the Reds’ success is a result of teamwork and has insisted that it is not at all difficult to settle down in a star-studded squad.
Mario Gomez has claimed that Bayern’s success is a result of hard work and determination from the team and that every single individual can be a match winner on his day. He feels that it is an honour to be part of a star studded
line-up as there are a lot of opportunities to score goals, and each player knows how to shoulder his responsibility on the pitch.
The striker believes that the presence of top players like http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Arjen-Robben-c6521, Thomas Muller and Franck Ribery does not make things complicated on the pitch. He insisted that there is great unity among the team
and all the players are eager to give their best for the side.
Apart from praising the offensive players, Gomez also reserved praise for his team defenders who have stood like a wall so far this season. He stated that the whole team is responsible for the club’s success during the first half
of this season, and vowed to carry on the good work when the players return from the winter break.
While talking to reporters in Doha, the former Stuttgart star further mentioned:
“These are all top players and a real top player wants to win every single match, and is always focused on success and hungry for more. Our team is like that. You only mentioned the offensive players but the same applies to the
defenders, of course.”
“Talent alone isn’t enough; there is much more to it. I think the character of our players is important because not only we are good football players but we have the right attitude. The coach has shaped the team to his liking and
I think we are playing a good season,” he concluded.
The former ‘German Footballer of the Year’ wishes to lead his side to the much awaited Bundesliga title this term, and retain his Golden Boot award. Once the Reds return from the winter break, Gomez will definitely be the ‘Man
to watch’ both in http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Germany-c2904 and Europe.
