Mario Gotze not ruling out a move away from Germany – Bundesliga news
Borussia Dortmund midfielder Mario Gotze has hinted at a possible departure from Germany at the conclusion of this year’s campaign. The player reportedly has different offers from http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/England-c749 and is likely to opt for one of the two countries at the
end of the 2011/12 season.
The midfielder has been an inspiration for his club and has taken no time to win accolades from other big name clubs. He confirmed of interest from clubs like Real Madrid and http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Barcelona-c38604 and is still unsure of his future in Germany.
Gotze made a name for himself last season, prompting the Premier League leaders Manchester United to make a bid for his services. The Borussians turned down the offer, determined to keep the teenager for the entire length of his contract.
Dortmund chairman Hans-Joachim Watzke had earlier declined claims of the player’s probable departure during the summer. He was confident of Gotze staying for at least another two seasons. The Chairman had confirmed about the bid received from Real Madrid,
adding that the German would not be moving away from Signal Iduna Park.
Speaking to the media, the chairman said:
“Firstly, there is no offer from Real Madrid. Secondly, it is quite clear that Mario is not for sale. For these reasons, this is a trivial discussion.”
Gotze, on the other hand, contradicted the chairman’s statement, saying that nothing is finalised as yet. He added that there are no problems at the club and that Jurgen Klopp is the best man to lead the youth-based side in the future.
While talking to local press regarding his uncertain future, Mario enthused, "I am very content where I am, but you never know what will happen. [Nuri] Sahin also came from this club’s youth system and now? He plays at Santiago Bernabeu.”
He concluded the talks by saying, "Playing with Ozil and Khedira for http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Germany-c2904 is a dream for me because they are Real Madrid players. It is quite special to play with them.”
Gotze has 44 league appearances under his belt until now since landing at Signal Iduna Park in 2009.
