http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Germany-c2904 international, Mario Gotze, claims his former team member has said sorry for his behaviour after he agreed to join fierce rivals’ Bayern Munich in the summer transfer window.
Bayern Munich summer signing, Gotze, has stressed that his former colleague, Hummels, apologised for his comments following his unveiling at the Bavarian outfit on Tuesday. The player’s decision to quit his team and join Der FCB shocked a lot of people in
the country.
“I read what was said. Mats apologised to me in person. There is nothing more to add,” he added.
The Allianz Arena outfit met his €37 million buyout clause. Moreover, the hype around the transfer has died but still BVB central defender, Hummels, said that the young prodigy moved because of the huge amount of money. Nevertheless, the youngster stressed
he still talks to the defender and has made peace with the allegation.
“He [Guardiola] asked me how I am and when I will be fit again and if I feel comfortable here. It was important to me, to speak with the coach for the first time,” he continued.
Gotze claimed he read his former colleague’s statement but Mats said sorry to him later on. Therefore, he has forgiven his friend. He was Pep Guardiola’s first signing at the club as the new coach replaced Jupp Heynckes. The duo have spoken and the midfielder
suggested that Die Roten are a very big club, and he could not say no to them.
“I am just happy to be here. Sportingly, it is the right way for me. It was important to me, to start something new. It is the whole package,” he mused.
“I have do adapt to new surroundings, new team-mates and a different philosophy,” he concluded.
Pep asked Gotze about his recovery and when will he be able to join the rest of the team. The prodigy is pleased to join the German giants as he has made a positive move in his career. He was not able to play in the UEFA Champions League final due to injury
as the BVB lost to Bayern at Wembley Stadium last month.
