The Black-Yellows midfielder has expressed uncertainty over his future in http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Arsenal-c38429.
Mario Gotze has refused to commit his future to the reigning German champions who are eager to retain him at least until the end of his contract, which expires in 2013. The midfielder has been the centre of attraction for most
of the European clubs this season with strong interest from Manchester United and Arsenal a perfect proof of it.
Apart from the two Premier League sides, Spanish powerhouse Real Madrid are also interested in acquiring the attacker’s services during the summer transfer window. However, the youngster has so far not voiced his opinion about
leaving the club, but at the same time, is offering no guarantees of staying at the club at the end of current season.
Gotze, though, is currently focussing to help his side retain the Bundesliga crown this season. He insisted on having a better UEFA Champions League campaign next time around after finishing at the bottom of their group this term.
The teenager mentioned that he is pleased with his current situation at the club, but won’t rule out a summer move in order to achieve further success.
While talking to sports magazine, Kicker, the 19-year-old further insisted:
"The Champions League is a great competition. We will hopefully play a better role in it next season. But my further cooperation with BVB doesn't depend on it. Anyone who plays for a club like Dortmund can only imagine extending
their stay there. But this isn't a current issue. I wouldn't rule it out, but I won't guarantee it."
Gotze has been in terrific form this season for the Borussians, and has already collected five goals and as many assists from 14 league appearances. The attacking midfielder was quite instrumental during his club’s trophy triumph
last season having scored six goals to go along with 11 assists from 33 outings.
With strong interest from abroad, Gotze is likely to part ways with the Westfalenstadion outfit, who have received a massive boost with the acquisition of http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Marco-Reus-c23733.
