How do you get a star ranking in mario kart?

You have to best a cup, and get frist place in all tracks in that cup

1:dont fall off the track (1 time is ok, but no more)

2:get in frist place most of the time

You can add a star next to your profile name on the results screen and the Wi-Fi races by completing all Grand Prix races with a certain rank.

One star profile name: Earn a "One Star" rank in all Grand Prix races.

Two star profile name: Earn a "Two Star" rank in all Grand Prix races.

Three star profile name: Earn a "Three Star" rank in all Grand Prix races.

Get first place in every race. it may take one or two times. it all matters on how skilled you are.

get first in every single cup and course.

stay first as much as possible

finish the course a good few seconds before the rest of the pack

also try to get the cube things to block/ create obstacles for other players

for example:

you chose the mushroom cup,

you need to get first in all 4 races that fall under that cup and get first place overall for that cup
