Mario kart wii moonview high way glitch?

Question

i was playing mario kart wii and recently on moonview high way track when i get hit by a car head on the camera will move downwards but i wont be flattened? this is on grand prix mirror mode btw....just wondering if any1 else had that problem.....also any1 could explain the grumble volcano glitch?
