I'm not a Cowboys fan at all, but the past two seasons i've had Marion Barber on my fantasy football team. you have to admit, He is the most nastiest running back to try to take down on the grid iron. you agree?

  1. hes very good not yet a number 1 pick but certainly worth takin in the first round anyday he puts up real good numbers consistently even while splitting time

  2. I do agree. He knows how to hit the holes hard, and he keeps his feet moving until the wistle blows. He also keeps his hands on the football.  Just wait until this season when he has Felix jones to take some of the load off of him.

  3. Oh yeah dude.

He's got it all...he's quick, tought, and a ferocious animal.

Chuck Norris would have a hard time taking him down.

I had him on my fantasy team too and I was more than pleased with the results...You can't go wrong with Marion Barber, at least not anytime soon.

  4. I am a Cowboys fan and I thought I would become a big Romo fan as he started taking over at QB, and I do like Romo, but when I watch MBIII run it makes me jump out of my seat and beat my chest. It makes me want to go run someone over on the gridiron, even though I would get my butt whopped. His kind of determination is what keeps this new "everything is about me"  NFL exciting and worth watching. When he runs I love to say "That's a d**n man running the ball!"

  5. He is a BEAST!  He has almost every tool a good running back needs, including a really good O-line.  He is quick and does a good job at finding the hole or getting to the outside.  And he isn't scared to run you over either.  It will be interesting to see how he performs when he receives more action this year without Jones and with a younger back-up.

  6. Marion Barber the III is an animal on the feild. He has a nose for the end zone. He has full back power halfback speed and he is impossible to tackle. Try to arm tackle this guy and you'll get your arm ripped off.

To me he is a middle of the first round guy some where between 4th and 8th. For the main reason that he won't have to split carries any more Jones(who was the less of the two for the last two or three season Jones started). The Barbarion only had 975 yards.

However he only had 204 rushes. Thats a 4.8 yards a rush.  Multiply that by 275 to 300 rushes this season and you get 1440 yards(using 300). Add in his 12 to 16 TD and you clearly have a elite rb in Marion Barber.

You also have to look at Barbers recieving skills.  He caught 44 balls for 282 yard. He also caught 2 TD. These are naught elite number but consider this: Barber is clearly in a passing offense. And even though these numbers aren't near the top they still show he has the ability to so if needed. This means he won't be taken out on passing down. More time on the feild mean better numbers and more fantasy impact.

Definatley a first round pick and a guy I want on my team. (and I'll reach to get him)
