The answer is like 'how long is a piece of string?'

In official books he is credited with creating over fifty, including - as you say Sleeping Beauty and Swan Lake, but he also created Don Quixote, La Bayadere, Raymonda etc.  then there are those on which he co-operated with others - such as Nutcracker - and those to which he owned rights and he bought them up to date.

He must have been one of the most prolific people to have worked in ballet - and how wonderful it would have been to be able to attend one of his First Nights!
