Mariya Chekanovych conquers Women’s 50m breast-stroke crown: 2011 Canada Cup
Mariya Chekanovych continued to impress her fans during the second evening session of the 2011 Canada Cup, in Toronto, Ontario, on Saturday, November 26.
More importantly, Chekanovych claimed Women’s 50m breast-stroke title over her rivals by hitting the finishing divider in a scintillating mark of 32.22 seconds. In the meantime, Amanda Reason went on to clinch the silver medal in the respective race by banging the finishing fence in an impressive blot of 32.47 seconds, whereas, the bronze title went to Karyn Gagne and Kayl Voytechek in a matching time of 32.72 seconds, respectively.
Additionally, Kierra Smith earned fifth place honour in the respective meet by thrashing the finishing divider in a time of 32.82 seconds, while Fiona Doyle settled at sixth place in a time of 32.89 seconds.
