Marjuiana,weed,pot. HARAM or not?

marjuiana is god given its a plant on gods earth which god mad and also it has alot of good things that it does to you, for example for cancer patients, unlike alchol or crack or herion and such of these drugs which are not god made but man made. and i blieve that it says in the quarn the all gods plants are for a reason or somthing in that line. tell me youre opnion if cannbis is haram or not?

Any kind of drug is not good for you.their's always side affects but one way of looking at it i guess,if i had cancer i'de probably smoke myself silly cuz' in my mind i'de be thinking i'm gonna die anyway so i might as well go out fuc...up!!!!! But it kills brain cells and isn't to good for the lungs,either.so yes,it's harmful.

Abusing cannabis recreationally for its psychoactive properties is haram.  So is abusing tobacco, which is in a similar category.

I guess medicinal use might be a different matter.

You know why smoking is haram, it doesn't matter if it's crack ,weed or just cigarette. it's because slowly it kills you. and we all know killing you're self is haram.

ill even say its good for you. even though its not. its not that bad. deffinatley better then alcohol or tobacco. and also i was wondering something myself, if there were rastafarians in the US (maby i dont really know) would they be allowed to smoke marijuana as a religious pratice? I wonder how that would go.

-these people dont know anything, weed isnt addictive.... the only thing it does is make breathing harder, and SLIGHTLY effect your short term memory. Theyre all just believing what the government tells them.....

and to you edit, it doesnt matter how often you use it people below me would consider it "abusing" because they believe that it should ONLY be used for medicinal purposes.

Honestly I see nothing wrong with pot except the price!

Too much of a good thing becomes bad. Especially when that good thing is addictive in even small amounts.

All haram, unless used for medicinal purposes (don't go fooling yourself that you're using heroin or canabis to cure the corns and veruca's on your toe, coz it won't work on judgement day)

anything that harms your body is haram.

here go to Society and culture, then holidays, then ramadan, they are all muslims there and they will give you a good answer.
