After a dreadful eye injury, the ace South African wicketkeeper/batsman, Mark Boucher, has announced his retirement from international cricket and is extremely disappointed to have been ruled out of the all-important series against England.

Boucher holds the record of most number of dismissals for a wicketkeeper in Test cricket. Overall, the legendary cricketer had 999 internationals dismissals and it is a pity that his career ended in a sad way without completing a thousand victims, which were thoroughly deserved.
On top of that, he was more than useful as a late-middle order batsman, having scored five hundreds and 35 fifties under his belt.
