After a dreadful eye injury, the ace South African wicketkeeper/batsman, Mark Boucher, has announced his retirement from international cricket and is extremely disappointed to have been ruled out of the all-important series against England.
During the first day of South Africa’s practice match against http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Gemaal-Hussain-c1479 and the dislodged bail struck the wicketkeeper’s eye. Boucher was immediately taken off the field and later to the hospital for treatment.
After going through a three-hour long operation, the 35-year-old is not certain about his future and has consequently decided to call it a day.

“I had never anticipated announcing my retirement now, but circumstances have dictated differently. I have a number of thank you's to make to people who have made significant contributions during my International career, which I will do in due course,” the great cricketer continued.
Boucher holds the record of most number of dismissals for a wicketkeeper in Test cricket. Overall, the legendary cricketer had 999 internationals dismissals and it is a pity that his career ended in a sad way without completing a thousand victims, which were thoroughly deserved.
On top of that, he was more than useful as a late-middle order batsman, having scored five hundreds and 35 fifties under his belt.
