Mark DeRosa has now homered in 3 straight games?

What do you think has led him to this magnificent year? He is setting Career Highs in Homeruns and RBI

That's great.

He was one of my favorites when he was with the Rangers and remains one of my personal favorite players.

He is having a terrific year; I'm glad that people are beginning to recognize what a good player he actually is.

I'm hoping the Cubs take the World Series, since neither the Orioles or the Rangers are contending. =)

Good thing he wasn't traded at the beginning of the year for Brian Roberts.

Mark is a great player but couldnt really show it being behind Chipper Jones in Atlanta, he never really had a shot.

Expect this DeRosa for years to come.

Derosa has played sick this year.  Last year many on the team called him the MVP.  Though he doesnt give 30 hrs or 100 rbis, he is a very consistent player.  The main thing that makes him an essential part to the Cubs is his ability to play so many positions.  Lou really knows how to use him and he will continue to help the cubs deep into the playoffs.  I think having so many great hitters around him has helped to let him relax at the plate.  Obviously, the increase in RBI's can be attributed to players in front of him getting on base.

Well up until a couple years ago he never really got a chance to play full time. He was always viewed as a super utility player.

He's much more than that. He's proven to be an amazing everyday player in the two years he's been with the Cubs. I think the numbers he's putting up are just the numbers he's always been capable of putting up but hasn't gotten the chance to. Classy guy though, couldn't happen to a better player.

He is finally getting recognized for the quality that he adds to the team! I think he is more relaxed! And i would marry him in a moment! But i don't believe in marriage! lol
