Mark Lewis Francis?

hi does anyone know what has happened too my favourire sprinter mark lewis francis as a teen he was seen as faster then gatlin and assafa powell and has won a gold medal at the olmpics in athen so can some one please tell me where he gone i heard some one say hed missed at drugs test or somthing like that any way plzz help soon a s possible thanx

By all accounts he's peaked. He hasn't run a really competitive time in years and has turned down offers to train with many other top sprinters. Plus he's coming off a torn Achilles tendon and is going through rehab... His best days are probably behind him, sorry.

first off justin gatlin isnt even a top 3 in the world sprinter at all anymore, asafa, usian, and tyson g*y are way better than him and now gatlins gone anyways. lewis francis was only good as a 18 year old COMPARED TO other 18 other olds. he won a gold medal in the relay, holding off maurice greene even though he made up couple meters on him.

anyways he got a achillies tendon surgery and is done for the season for good. anyone whos got a surgery there has never returned to suceed in their career from there on, example: donovan bailey 2 years after winning the olympics in 1996.
