Mark My Words to take down Bubbly Jaytee in the Coral Sussex Cup – 2nd Semi-Final
The success of the three-year-old hound, Mark My Words, in the second heat of the Coral Sussex Cup on 19th July, 2012 at Hove did not come as a surprise. His impressive form and recent training did not disappoint the connections as the under charge
bagged the hat-trick.
His entry in the second semi-final of the Coral Sussex Cup is indicative of his tuned form that will help him to intimidate the 515 metres flat track at Hove on Thursday, 26th July. The favourite runner-up of the last spectacle that Westmead Hawk’s
son won, Bubbly Jaytee, will be racing in opposition again today. If the P. Young trained will be able to notch up the position this time to a success or not will not take long to come out in the open.
The sheer zeal with which Mark My Words has conquered his seasonal debut at Hove leaves little doubt in his ability to be the first one across the wire now that he has displayed his potential time and again.
The three-year-old out of, Jazz Hurricane, shot into the season by racing at Swindon, took it on to Wimbledon and then left an impressive impact at Monmore. The two times that the three-year-old has been trained was at Hall Green and at Monmore.
Besides a few rather insignificant dents on the record, Mark My Words has not really given his connections a reason for remorse. His style of racing and winning is different each time.
He will be up against Be Real, Holloway Road, Airforce Tom and Go Go Sonic.
Bubbly Jaytee on the other hand has not won since a while and even the training session arranged by trainer P. Young did not come handy. The last time the son of Wheres Pedro won was at Sittingbourne. His track record at Hove is not very encouraging with
a fourth, third and then a second position however, it is progressive.
The overall racing experience of the two-year-old is far less than what Mark My Words has under his belt, but Bubbly Jaytee’s edge over racing at Hove might just work tonight.
