  1. Mark WHO uh dont know him and good for him

  2. Yeah, it was time to go, the body was giving up. He will be remembered as a great player, and hugely popular.

  3. injuries wrecked him but he was a good player and will be missed by the crows

  4. Yeah he was a great player, but players have to retire sometime, as sad as it is.

lol the answer above me made it sound like he died. lol nice work

  5. who

    did he play in reserves

  6. Roo's retiring? Holy ****. I never knew the guy personally but boy could he kick a footy and captain a team. I follow Collingwood and nothing pleases me more than re-watching the video of the 2002 prelim final where we wiped their a$$es. On a serious note though, Roo was a good guy, a family man, a football man. A legionary. He will be remembered as Adelaide's best player so far. I loved Mark, I loved his beard. Farewell old friend.

---- By the way, this is my 300th answer. Please celebrate me. ----

  7. as a crows fan through and through - it is sad to see him go but unfortuantly he was never going to ever be fully recovered from his injuries and the best decision for him and the club was to retire. The club now has an opportunity to start bringing in some younger players and making the team a younger fresher side, hopefully making the coming seasons great with some fantastic players

  8. As a Crows fan, I wish he had 1 more year. His body has given up the ghost, it was the right time to go. True champion, he will be sadly missed by all Adelaide fans.
