A.C Milan midfielder, Mark Van Bommel, is confident that the Italian Champions will continue their good form in the upcoming season and will retain the Scudetto.
Milan won the 2010/11 Serie A title and ended a seven year Scudetto drought. The Italian Champions have already strengthened their squad in quest of defending their crown in the 2011/12 season.

Van Bommel, who joined Milan in the January transfer window of last season, believes that the squad has enough quality to cope with the loss of Pirlo. The Dutch international has full faith in the manager that he will replace the veteran with some top quality players.
The 34-year-old also believes that Milan should not let their standards drop in the next season and must produce results against top sides. He also believes that the Italian Champions can do well in UEFA Champions League next season.
Talking to the reporters Van Bommel said, "I have no doubts that we are still the team to beat. We are the Italian champions and with respect to last season, we have only lost one great player in Andrea Pirlo.”

Manager, Allegri, has set his sights on winning the Champions League in the upcoming season. Milan have had a torrid time in the previous three campaigns in Europe and have not gone beyond the last 16 stage on all occasions.
The former Bayern Munich star believes that his team has a balanced squad and they can win the competition this time around.
