Mark Webber: I think Hungarian Grand Prix will be a tough race – Formula 1 news
Red Bull Racing driver Mark Webber has predicted a tough race in the upcoming Hungarian Grand Prix among the top runners of the 2011 Formula 1 season so far.
Webber said that he thinks the race will be tough among Red Bull’s Sebastian Vettel, Ferrari’s Fernando Alonso and McLaren’s Lewis Hamilton at the Hungaroring race circuit on July 31, 2011 in Budapest.
The team driver further mentioned that McLaren, Ferrari and Red Bull seem in a competitive form from the last few races of the 2011 Formula 1 season and therefore, the next race will be a tough one for them.
Talking to reporters, the Australian stated, “None of those victories were handed to them, no one was in front and then had a technical problem. They were grand prix that were won fair and square, so there is real form there, and I think that this weekend,
whether it's three teams’ remains to be seen.”
The 34-year-old driver told the media that his team must come back to their winning ways following a disappointing race weekend in Germany recently.
Webber had a great time in the German Grand Prix, where he secured his pole place for the Nürburgring race. Both of the drivers Webber and Vettel started their race from the first and third places on the opening grid and ended up in the third and fourth
spots respectively.
The team’s results in Nürburgring were not a disaster, but they were unhappy with their positions.
Red Bull driver Webber went on to mention, “It's by going racing that you learn about yourself; we don't learn about ourselves at the factory, we learn about going racing and that's the most important thing, to react in a positive, constructive way off the
back of being beaten fair and square.”
Red Bull Racing team made some developments in their RB7 car for getting positive results from the remainder of the ongoing season.
Let’s see how both of the drivers perform at the Hungaroring race circuit this weekend following their disappointing German Grand Prix.
