Mark Webber: Victory will come soon in 2012 Formula 1 season – Formula 1 news
Red Bull Racing driver Mark Webber is feeling positive that his first victory of 2012 Formula 1 season will come soon while he said that he is looking forward to the Grands Prix in Europe.
The Australian driver has secured fourth place finishes in all the first four races of the season.
However, his teammate, Sebastian Vettel successfully claimed his remarkable first victory of the season in the last race held at Bahrain International Circuit in Sakhir on Sunday.
Nevertheless, despite being stuck with the fourth place finish in the season so far, Webber expressed that he is quite confident about the races ahead.
“I'm pleased that the Bahrain Grand Prix weekend is over and I'm looking forward to getting back to Europe and racing on some proper circuits,” he told his website. “We have a lot of new bits coming through and on the evidence of these opening races we'll
need them because it's very close out there. I look forward to joining the winner's rostrum soon. Overall, it's been a good opening segment of the season for me and Red Bull Racing are now leading the constructors' championship. But I'm looking forward to
getting on a plane and going back to Europe.”
Besides, he said that he expects unpredictable results throughout this season as there have been four different winners with completely different cars’ setup in the first four races.
Red Bull have been winning the championship title from the last couple of seasons. Moreover, they completely dominated during the preceding year as they managed to claim victories in 12 out of 19 races with their pair of driver.
Contrarily, the defending championships faced issues in exploring the full potential of their car and struggled during the start of the season.
Nonetheless, they bounced back well in the last race as the veteran German driver took an incredible victory and all the team efforts proved out to be fruitful in the end.
On the other hand, Vettel paid compliments to his team for all their hard work which they have put so as to improve the pace of the car.
