for the parting of the red sea, many say God did it with high winds. by the time the Israelite crossed over which was in the millions, of course the land would be dry

as for bread, take it any way you like it

it would be just as easy for God to materialize bread from a single crumb or have angels baking all the needs of the people who will eat it and place it in the basket which is raised up to God.

how can anyone doubt miracles. when so many people witnessed them, or it would not have been written down?

  1. If the winds were so high as to part an entire sea, then how come the tiny little humans didn't blow away either?

  2. We dont have to understand.

My wife doesnt care to understand how a car runs, she accepts that it does and thats good enough for her.

I dont need to understand why God commands certain things, I accept he gave the rule for a reason and do my best to follow it.

I think people doubt miracles because they dont see any in their lives.  If they would ask their father in heaven for guidance and inspiration, maybe they would have some experiences with Him.

  3. God CAN DO ANYTHING..........HE IS GOD.......GOD IS JUST LIKE THAT. WOW WHAT A ALMIGHTY GOD.

  4. nobody will ever know how he did it.  that's like asking how he made the earth.  only God knows how he did it.  I answered it the best way I could lol sorry if I didn't help that much.

                      God Bless!

  5. Yes, I'm sure it was real.

I saw David Copperfield do some good ones, too.

  6. God did nothing of the sort. There are no such things as miracles and no one witnessed one. That is just made-up nonsense.

  7. So the Story of Medusa and the Odysseus is true after all?

Come on Witness, you reject 99% of human testimony about the miraculous and mythic events as unreliable and the musings of uneducated, superstitious humans.  You only accept accounts in the bible because it supports your indoctrination.

Perhaps you should read the book of Kells, and then explain to me how Leprechauns are only Myth, utilizing the reasoning up above.  Why would uneducated Irishmen write about miraculous faeries and Leprechans if it wasn't true?

  8. People doubt miracles as they are happening. For instance the Jews as they spent 40 years in the wilderness being fed and watered daily but still had the nerve to ***** and whine.  I honestly do not see what GOD sees so likeable in us humans at times!

  9. How can you doubt the miracles and prophecies of other religions? Quite easily, I would imagine.

  10. Parting the red sea was a translation error.  They weren't at the red sea at all.  It was supposed to say sea of reed.  So Moses parting the red sea was just them walking through a reed forest.

If witnesses at a crime that happened just an hour ago can be very unreliable, what makes you think witnesses to an event that happened 2000+ years ago can be taken word for word?

Read the bible, understand the spirit of it, learn the life lessons, don't read it and apply everything word for word.
