Mark van Bommel admits Bayern Munich can repeat the treble success – Football News

Former Bayern Munich midfielder, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Mark-van-Bommel-c24148, has claimed that the Bavarian giants can repeat the success from last season in the upcoming campaign. He stated that the club has the world-class squad and the addition of Pep
Guardiola as the manager will only benefit the cause.
The Reds won the treble comprising of the German Bundesliga, DFB-Pokal and the UEFA Champions League. Jupp Heynckes ensured that his side won every competition that they are taking part in and Bayern ended the season and domestic
and European champions.
The current Bayern team is being regarded as one of the best in their history and the club has further bolstered their squad by signing Mario Gotze from rivals Borussia Dortmund.
Van Bommel claimed that it would not be surprising if his former side won the treble again next season. He admitted that the team deserves everything as the players have worked extremely hard especially after losing two European
finals in a matter of three years.

On the other hand, the former http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Netherlands-c753 international hinted that he may return to Bayern after he gets his coaching license. The player retired from professional football at the end of the previous season and vowed to get his
licenses as soon as possible to start a coaching career.
“I want to see all my good friends [at Bayern] ... but also track [new head coach] Pep [Guardiola]'s work,” he concluded.
Mark van Bommel made a total of 183 appearances in all competitions for Bayern Munich and scored 16 times in the process. The player won two Bundesliga titles, one DFL-Supercup, one DFB-Ligapokal and two German Cups during his
stay at the Allianz Arena.
