The 64-year-old tactician insists that the former Bayern Munich and AC Milan midfielder is a key ingredient in his side due to his experience.
PSV Eindhoven head coach, d**k Advocaat, has insisted that Mark van Bommel’s presence in the squad is extremely important for his side. The 35-year-old joined the Eindhoven giants earlier this summer after his contract expired
at AC Milan.
The veteran midfielder started his professional career in the 1992/93 season at Fortuna Sittard. After spending seven-years at the club, the Dutchman decided to take the next step in his career by moving to Philips Stadion in the
summer of 1999.
The Dutch international enjoyed a successful spell at the Boeren, netting 46 goals while setting up plenty more in over 150 league appearances. His impressive performances garnered interest from several European giants.

The Dutchman’s love for PSV forced him to move back to Philips Stadion earlier this summer, and his arrival has strengthened the look of Advocaat’s squad.
