Question:

Marketing Employee Rewards Program--HELP!?

The company I work for has an employee rewards program that gives anywhere from $10-300 giftcards to employees from major stores (best buy, sears, walmart, target, etc) for great service (employees get to choose where the can get the card from). My boss would really like to step up the marketing of this idea as he wants to reward his employees. The catch is that it is employee based nominations--nominating your fellow employee. The name of it is the Bullseye Award and I need some ideas to get people really interested in it and get them to nominate people. I had thought about hanging up those foam bullseye toys and ordering a cake with a big bullseye on it. We have a committee meeting Monday to come up with marketing ideas. Anyone have any other ideas/suggestions we can use to get interest in this program? It's not a small prize--we're looking for about $200 per employee.

  1. How about ordering small stress-reliever bulls with a custom imprint that say something like "No bull! Nominate someone for the Bullseye Award" I've posted a link of what one looks like. The imprint area is pretty small on it so you won't be able to fit a whole lot of text.
