my marketing teacher gave our class an end of the year market research project and we were supposed to survey different age groups like teens, seniors, children, young adults, etc and we were supposed to give them 5 different brands of jelly beans and ask them to rate them 1-5 on texture, taste, overall appearance, etc. now i have to make a poster that synthesizes the information i gathered...

does anybody have any ideas on how to CREATIVELY show the information on a posterboard?? i need a good name that says something like 'jelly bean research survey' but it has to sound cool.. she said she wants the poster to be creative.. i am the most uncreative person ever.. i need ideas for a name and also for how to decorate the poster.. i think it should be colorful since it has to do with jellybeans.. any ideas anyone?? i need so much help!!!

  2. Well THIS could be fun!

Since you're dealing with statistics, I think a nice title for your report would be "The Bean Mean."

Probably the easiest and most familiar charting system would be a bar graph, which you could also color-code according to response.

If it were me, I'd use a fairly stiff piece of cardboard, with a sheet of white art board adhered to it. Stick the bar chart in the center under the headline; any additional copy you must include (keep it simple); and then randomly glue jelly beans all about the background. This will make the whole poster a little more interesting. Don't be afraid to glue LOTS of beans on there as in this case, "more" is "more."

    Just an idea...
