  1. there is an awesome music video that i highly reccomend. it makes me think very hard about everything about conserving and global warming.

the name of the video is

What I've done by linkin park

they are a rock band that is very appropriate for high schoolers

perhaps after showing the video you could ask questions about what they saw that could waste energy

the music video includes pictures of the environment being harmed and energy being wasted.

here are the lyrics to the song it is cuss free

    In this farewell

    There’s no blood

    There’s no alibi

    ‘Cause I’ve drawn regret

    From the truth

    Of a thousand lies

    [Pre-Chorus:]

    So let mercy come

    And wash away

    What I’ve done

    [Chorus:]

    I'll face myself

To cross out what i’ve become

    Erase myself

And let go of what i’ve done

    Put to rest

    What you thought of me

    While I clean this slate

    With the hands of uncertainty

    [Pre-Chorus]

    [Chorus]

    For what I’ve done

    I start again

    And whatever pain may come

    Today this ends

    I’m forgiving what I’ve done!!!

    [Chorus]

    What I’ve done

    Forgiving what I’ve done

  2. It might take some convincing - but if the faculty agree - combine classes to show overcrowding from habitat loss - this could also be done by having half the tables at lunch.

    I also like this game;

It shows how resources are important. (and it is fun)
