I have to write a paper for a consumer behavior course on how/why marketing companies choose to market a particular product to a specific social class. The two products I picked are men's watches and women's shoes. I have to find credible information that backs up my statements like "Rolex watches are marketed to upper class white males in their fifties." It seems like this would be easy info to find but I can't find any previous studies or how companies decide who they are going to market their product too. I anyone can point me in the right direction to find info like this please let me know.
