Heya,

Are there any outdoor markets in Madrid that sell fresh fruit & vegetables, similar to the Mercat de la Boqueria in Barcelona?

Thanks :)

  1. There are several markets for fresh produce. They are not technically "outdoors", but they are the classic markets for all the locals: Chamartin, La Cebada (near Plaza Mayor) and Maravillas (on Bravo Murillo street). Those are among the three best.

  2. Yes, definitely, there's practically outdoor markets all over Spain and sell basically anything.  In Madrid they DO sell a lot of fresh fruit and vegetables as well as other food products and items.  Hope I helped!!! :-)
