we bought a 7FT pool table and when we got it, it wasn't marked and was wondering if anyone knew what dimensions we mark it at.

  1. The only thing that you probably want to mark on your table is the foot spot.  This is the point on the table that you usually use to place the apex (head) ball when racking.  Draw an imaginary line across the table from the second diamond from the foot cushion.  Now find the spot where this line intersects the center string.  You can find a picture of this on the BCA (Billiard Congress of America) website.  Otherwise, you don't need to mark anything else.  M.D.-BCA Instructor/Referee.

  2. The marking dimensions for a 7' Pool Table

    Baulk Line 16 7/8" (metric 429mm)

    "D" Radius 6 11/16" (metric 170mm)

    Black Spot 7 7/16" (metric 188mm)

    Pink Spot 20" (metric 508mm)

Blue Spot - center of the table

Measurements from inside face of cushion in fixed position as from an Astra Billiards Table
