Marks after pimples disappeared?

Alright so ever since january, i've broken out above my lip... the pimples are finally gone now, but they've left behind these red spots of where they used to be. in all, i have about 4 marks. 2 of them i tried popping, they left marks, so then when i got the next two, i've left them alone (no popping or medication) and they've STILL left marks. i'm going to the dermatologist whenever my mom decides to call (*sigh*) but i would like to have opinion of why they are there and how to get rid of them. thanks =) PS. the marks are flat. jus flat red spots that have been on my face for about 8 months.

if you've had em that long I'll bet when it was really hot outside the bumps really turned bright red huh?

I personally have never seen that happen, I'd ask your mom again about it.. best of luck hopefully you can figure out whats going on..

These are, unfortunately, scars from acne. I get them whether or not I pop my zits or pimples.

Once you get your acne completely under control by the derm's standards (get there quickly, you'll be happy), you can have microderm abrasion done to remove or significantly fade the scars!

These are from the sounds of it not scares. Just marks that are sometimes left over from breakouts. Unfortunately, they can take MONTHS to fade away.

i think they're acne scars, you just cover them up with a little bit of makeup, and you'll be fine :)

i have the same thing like u. my mom said that they are just acne scars but they eventually go away.

Stop popping your pimples they leave scares.
