A new 2005 Honda Accord has a list price of $25,800. Suppose that the dealer markup on this car is 1.5%. What is the dealer's cost?

Does anybody know how to do this problem?

  1. Divide by 1.015?


  2. X * 1.015 = 25800

    x = 25800/1.015 = 25418.72

  3. i think you multiply .15 by $25,800.

    then whatever that answer is you add it to $25,800.

    so that would be...$29,670.
