After comprehensively losing the opening two One Day Internationals of the five-match series against Bangladesh, the Windies made a strong comeback, winning the third one-dayer by four wickets at the Shere Bangla National Stadium in Mirpur on Wednesday.

“We all know how important it was to win this game,” said Sammy. “They were playing good cricket, but that knock by Marlon helped us clinch the game.”
“Frittering away wickets after getting starts has been an issue for us, but Powell did a good job and Samuels got a match-winning century for us,” he added further.
Sammy also had a word of praise for mystery spinner Sunil Narine, who had earlier struggled in the opening two fixtures, claiming only one wicket.
“Sunil Narine bowled well, we know the quality he possesses and he finally got a pitch that helped him and we saw how dangerous he is,” said the visiting skipper.
