Maroonish Bedroom: Help with complimentary color scheme and finding furniture? (easy 10 points!)?

I just painted my room this maroon color, with a little pinkish purple in it..so it's a bit emo indie like me, but also girly. (:

i was thinking about having it look indie and vintage, or kinda old movie goth romantic..i have light light wood desk and book case, and a dark wood bookcase...(both bookcases are small!) i was thinking about maybe staining or paint some of it....(for my indie idea) but it seems like too much work, so now im trying to think how i can make my other idea work. i'd like my room to maybe have black, gray (or charcoal) and white...i found a bed at urban that i LOVE..but they only have it in a twin..im 14..so another question is, do you think i will get sick of having a twin or should i deal since the be is gorgeous? thanks! have a look at the bedding on this site, its further down the page, its maroonish looking with black, would look great in a gothic style room
